Songs of the Redeemed
Praise to the LORD, the Almighty
All you who hear, now to His temple draw near: join me in glad adoration!
The words of this great hymn align beautifully with Psalm 150, which answer the questions of where we are to praise Him vs 1-2, what we are to praise Him for vs 2, what we are to praise Him with vs 3-5, and finally who is to praise Him vs 6. May we join our voices together in singing our call to worship to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation, let us who have life and breath, come now with praises before Him! Let the Amen sound from His people again: gladly forever adore Him!
Mighty To Save
Only those who are the redeemed, who have repented of their sins and believed the gospel, can sing this wonderful song because we have been chosen by Jesus for salvation. Jesus the Author of salvation was made a little lower than the angels, partook of flesh and blood so that He could taste death for every man, making propitiation for our sins, satisfying God’s holy wrath against sinners. Hebrews 2: 9-18
Savior He can move the mountains, my God is mighty to save He is mighty to save
Forever, author of salvation He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave.
Jesus Thank You!
Jesus not only tasted death for us. He conquered death taking its victory. And giving us victory over death and it’s sting. We can sing and give thanks to Jesus because:
Your blood has washed away my sin, Jesus thank You!
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied, Jesus Thank You!
Once Your enemy now seated at Your table, Jesus Thank You!
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15: 57
